Start where your editing ends.

Your editor handles the look of the photographs. Mizan handles the organization of the edited JPEG gallery. Bring the files you intend to deliver, choose the Wedding template, then review the proposed chapter assignments before exporting.

This is a separate step from selecting keepers, retouching portraits or building an album layout. Keep the editing and culling tools you already use. You do not need to replace your established process to evaluate Mizan on a finished gallery.

Bring both perspectives onto one timeline.

A second shooter may cover the room while you photograph the couple. If the cameras’ clocks differ, sorting by capture time alone can mix the order of those moments. Mizan includes camera-clock alignment to help bring edited photos from multiple cameras together.

Before reviewing chapters, check recognizable moments across the cameras: the ceremony entrance, a shared portrait or the start of a speech. Confirm that the order makes sense, especially when a camera was reset or a shoot crossed a time-zone change.

Use the day’s chapters as a starting point.

The Wedding template provides a structure from getting ready through send-off. AI assignments still need your judgment: a family portrait at the reception might belong with family photos, or it may make more sense in the reception sequence for this delivery.

Check the transitions between chapters and any images whose context could fit more than one part of the day. The sample folder plan below illustrates a wedding structure; it is not a report from a client gallery.

Review the delivery, then export copies.

Mizan creates an organized export without moving or modifying the original files. Open the exported folders, check a selection from every chapter, and confirm that the gallery is ready for your delivery process. Keep your usual backups of both the edited inputs and the final export.

Your photographs stay on your Mac. The model is downloaded during setup; activation and periodic license checks require an internet connection. Photo organization itself can run offline after the model download.
